August 5, 2014, the FIFA Fan Zone sur Crescent was organized to celebrate the FIFA Woman’s World Cup Canada 2014. There were many activities for the whole family including a live performance by Tyler Shaw on the FIFA main stage and a live broadcast on giant video walls of the FIFA Women’s U-20 game between Canada and Ghana. Army Cadets Band played live on the street accompanied by the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada Mascot, Shuéme the owl. Among the official sponsors, were Coca-Cola, Kia, Sony, TSN 690 and the Federation de Soccer du Québec, who brought activities for all ages during the FIFA Fan Fest.
