The 2011 LG Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival, presented by Bud
Light, was back for it’s 12th year and was bigger than ever! While
showing no signs of slowing down, the festival proudly welcomed over
500,000 people in attendance during the 3 days. Activities, promotions,
autograph sessions with F1 drivers and free nightly music on the Virgin
Mobile Stage made this weekend memorable. Special guests included Virgin’s sir Richard Branson, Cory Monteith from Glee, racing legend Emerson Fittipaldi and current F1 drivers Vitaly Petrov, Timo Glock and Jerome D’Ambrasio. The crowd also enjoyed free nightly entertainment on the Virgin Mobile Stage featuring music from Canadian talent including Fefe Dobson, Sloan and Down with Webster. Other activities included the Ford Pit Stop Competition, the Pirelli racing simulators and photo opportunities with LG Hostesses in front of a champions podium.
